Muay Tigers is born from a deep-rooted passion for movement, strength, and culture. Our name is no coincidence. Muay means fighting, and Tigers symbolize power, protection, and the fearless warrior spirit deeply embedded in both Muay Thai and Thai culture. In ancient traditions, the tiger is more than just an animal. It’s a protector. In Thai tradition, the tiger stands for strength, protection, and courage. A sacred animal that embodies the fearless fighter. It reminds us to move with purpose, fight with heart, and live with boldness. Just like the marigold garlands, known as pong malai, worn by Muay Thai fighters, we believe in carrying luck, blessings, and energy into everything we do. These symbols aren’t just decoration. They are part of who we are.

One of our founders carries Indonesian roots, where tigers and marigolds hold deep spiritual meaning. From the streets of Rotterdam to the temples and jungles of Bali, and the fight camps of Thailand, these cultural influences shape our identity.
